Presentation-WSST 2015 Citizen Science

This year I had the opportunity to present for the first time at Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers Conference 2015 with two colleagues (Carrie Morgan & John Lindquist) from a Citizen Science class that I had taken at the UW-Waukesha field station.  I have been able to implement projects (small scale) in the classroom.  The exciting part is the plethora of opportunities that are available for this.  Some students have taken advantage of these projects to fulfill their project point hours.  We also spend a significant amount of our time with service learning projects.    KM-Citizen Science Opportunities
